The rooms at Tropical Garden are so cozy and comfortable! I loved the seating area, it was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Plus, the soundproofing in the double room made it extra peaceful and quiet. As a backpacker, this was exactly what I needed to recharge.

Personally, I found the soundproofing a bit too effective. It made the room feel a little bit too isolated from the outside world.

We had a great start to our Sri Lanka experience at Tropical Garden. The host arranged a late night airport transfer and greeted us with cold bottles of water. The location was perfect, close to the beach and restaurants. We even had access to a swimming pool at a nearby hotel. The breakfast in the leafy tropical garden was delicious. The host was very helpful and even organized a trip to a highly recommended spa. I would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Lastly, I really enjoyed the kind and friendly staff who were always willing to assist and make my stay as comfortable as possible.

On the first night, the noise from the generator kept me awake. However, this issue was resolved and didn't bother me for the rest of my stay.

As women travelling alone, we felt safe and welcomed by the friendly staff. The owner and his family went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even waiting late at night to pick us up and providing fresh water. The breakfast was delicious and included local delicacies. The AC and Wi-Fi were excellent, and the owner gave us helpful advice on transportation and even purchased train tickets for us. Access to a beautiful pool was an added bonus.

I absolutely loved the decoration at Tropical Garden. The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere with beautiful tropical touches that made me feel like I was on a true getaway. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, and there was plenty of seating available for me to relax and enjoy the surroundings. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with ramps and handrails in place to assist me in navigating the different areas of the property.

I would have asked for better accessibility for senior people. Although the children working there were friendly and helpful, I would have appreciated if there were more assistance available for seniors, such as someone to help with carrying luggage or guiding us to our rooms.

We were picked up from the airport and given a guided tuktuk ride around the town by the friendly and helpful owners. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms had aircon and en suite facilities. The location was quiet and close to the main street. We were also provided with plug adaptors and given pool passes for the hotel across the road.
